I have a soft spot for nativities and want to grow an entire collection. Of course with a 1 year old and 4 year old, that's not an easy task when little hands want to play with all of the little pieces. Naturally. So you can imagine my excitement when I decided to flip through the One Step Ahead catalog today and found this: a pretty + child-safe 24 piece wooden nativity that reminds me of the German Holztiger set (which runs about 10 times this price). And for that price! Joy!

Wow. I love it! I've got 2 boys, 3 and 5 years old... I could trust them with this one, and know that Baby Jesus would remain intact!
I've been looking for a non-cheesy nativity set, and this one hits just the right note! Good find.
It's down to $34.95! Good grief, so pretty. I love the kings with their stripes and polka dots.
